Currently planning my holidays for the year, maybe travel to Rio Grande Do Sul, Seattle or Tokyo. I am working to become a Professional Engineer (in Panama and USA).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to start going to CS events and to host people whenever I can in Panama City.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of CSurfers in the past and they both were pretty interesting experiences. I stayed with a CS host as well when I visited Barcelona, and although I had an amazing time in the city, the host experience was not brilliant. I took a break from CS while I was finishing with uni and now I am starting to go back to the events hosted in Panama.

Swimming, scuba diving, trekking, hiking, camping, physics, technology (I am an engineer), cooking (especially with people or with funky music), movies and music.
I also love to talk about brazilian portuguese and german languages (culture as well).

Well, my tastes in music are basically classic rock, rock and roll, death 'n' roll (like Kvelertak, I love those guys), folk (from the like of Mumford and Sons or Of Monsters and Men to the underground folk artists that spend their time playing in pubs and festivals), LATIN MUSIC OF COURSE! Especially Salsa (Ray Barretto, Rubén Blades, Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Puente, etc.), Bachata, a bit of reggaeton (I said A BIT, the good reggaeton)and Rock en Español (Maná, Héroes del Silencio, etc.), Jazz (Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and the like)...

My taste in movies is a bit inclined for the old school Hollywood movies, the ones that had heart. I like horror (like The Thing, the Evil Dead, italian stuff from Dario Argento), action (Die Hard series is one of my favourites), but I am more inclined for Sci-fi/Action/Adventure. Depends on the mood of the moment.

As for books, I have been inclined lately for the Latin American Boom authors like Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, etc. But I like good sci-fi or mystery novels/short-stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I rowed across the Panama Canal in the summer of 2011, it was, in one word, amazing.
Watching the stars on the West Coast of Ireland.
Walked the West Highland Way in Scotland during the summer of 2015 by myself. It was an amazing and almost spiritual experience. I love to talk about this particular walk. Camping in Scotland was awesome.
