I'm Oakley. I spent the last several years working and living in China. It was a great experience that allowed me to meet different people from all over the world. I worked first as I English teacher in Tianjin in northern China and later as a lawyer in Shenzhen in southern China.

Currently, I have taken a year off from work to travel around Asia and Europe. My goal is to go from Singapore to Iceland without flying.

I'm pretty laid back and open to most activities from going out to the pub for a drink, walking around a musuem, or taking a hike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just looking to meet up with local people on my travels. Sometimes when you stay in only hostels you never get a chance to interact with people from the city or country you are visiting.

Saying just one is hard, but I have traveled to 25 countries, lived in China for 4 years, and went scuba diving in Malaysia.
