ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing songwriter/singer seeking wondrous life experiences. I feel young but have lived many lives and can't wait to add to the collection. I have a strong curiosity and like to ask questions. I'm a little shy but people say I don't appear that way and can be "a bit of a ham". In life I swing wildly between having many friends and times of chosen solitude. I enjoy sharing stories and ideas in order to expand perspective. I assume that you're open minded and easy going until you prove me wrong! I have a fascination for what I call "unique people" - those who don't follow the status quo. I will be writing music for my first album when I arrive home from Tokyo so I'm seeking inspiration from new places and new people.

PHILOSOPHY

The biggest miracle and gift in life is the ability to create what we envision. Creation is adaptation, evolution, and it is integral to our survival. This is best instilled from a young age but also, on a societal level, creativity needs to be accepted as the determinant of our future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend from college visited San Francisco many years back and he "surfed" here, as they say. Everyone in the group was cool and there were many memorable nights, one involving improvised flute duets outside of a Federal building (the echo was great). I have a lot of time to myself when I'm in Tokyo so I'm looking to hang out.
