Jan 2025: I returned home to Da nang after a-3 month journey across the US and Europe as a slow traveler. Crazy thing is, I decided to make this trip only 9 days before my departure. I had followed informed decisions for most of my adult life, so this time I took a spontaneous travels, letting the world guide me.

After traveling solo since 2015, I embraced slow travel in 2022.

So what does “slow travel” mean?

When you try to see and do as much as possible in a short amount of time, it can be exhausting, which is called “travel burnout” . You know the feeling of getting home from a trip and needing another vacation to recover? Slow travel focuses on connecting with local cultures and communities at a deeper level. This kind of travel is about enjoying meaningful experiences that could create educational and emotional impacts.

I typically travel without a planned itinerary, which means I don't dedicate much time to research. My actual journeys are shaped by the people I met. I enjoy spending time with local people and communities as much as possible.
