About Me
ABOUT ME
I thoroughly enjoy the presence of warm and interesting people. I often don't have a lot to say about certain things which means that I tend to do more listening than talking during group conversations. I enjoy travelling and reading and watching tv and have a bit of a half-assed artistic streak which most likely derives from the fact that both my parents are artists. Those who stay with me will notice scattered paintings and art supplies in my house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of couchsurfing and am a little bummed that I didn't know about during the 7 month trip that I just finished. I love anything which brings people from all different backgrounds together. I also like meeting new people and want to build my CS reputation for future trips.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have so far only hosted. I have had one surfer who not only cooked meals which he shared with me but also cleaned my house! I don't expect surfers to do this of course but it certainly is nice.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am reading a book right now about the Shining Path in Peru. It is interesting. My favorite book of all time is ''Of Human Bondage'' by Somerset Maughm.
Teach, Learn, Share
-I would be happy to give surfers little mini-lessons in Spanish. Especially neighborhood slang.
-I could do the same with English
-I am also happy to explain what I know about Oaxacan history, culture and things to do. Sometimes I could even act as tour guide.
