Meet people, try things i have never tried, get the adrenaline pumping or just chill out with some good music. I want to see the world one couch at a time!

ABOUT ME

I see myself as pretty adventurous, I love the outdoors, from adrenaline inducing sports to walking through the woods, and Love climbing especially! as far as travel goes, I've been around much of Western Europe, spent a few months in South East Asia, and couchsurfed my way down the east coast of the U.S.A. for 6 months. I'm now traveling through South America looking to volunteer along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

meeting new people from around the world and sharing stories and adventures. Life is there to be lived, and settling down to a 9-5 in a little old town seems insane to me when there's so much to see!

Interests

Huge music fan from Caravan Palace to Frank Sinatra, Refused to Miles Davis. Very much in to electro swing and glitch influenced music at the moment, and i love the small festival scene.

I'm a big fan of rock climbing, i find it relaxing and challenging at the same time, the thought that goes in to solving a climbing problem is a kind of meditation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm I pretty slow reader but I always have two books on the go, currently i'm reading The Gift and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending an exhausting day hiking up a Swiss mountain, arriving at a wooden hut and finding a wooden hot tub, heated by a wood burner. Relaxing above the clouds at around 3000m, surrounded by snow, watching the sun set below lighting up the clouds like giant lanterns. It was truly beautiful.. and there was beer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I've experience in music recording and live sound. Im a rock climbing instructor back home and happy to share any and all of my skills and knowledge. I can teach you how to juggle in an hour. And I'm a keen cook having been a chef for a while!

Learn: almost any skill i will be willing to put effort in to learning, I've recently started learning Spanish and i love to play guitar, slowly improving both.

Share: knowledge, experiences, food.

I love to cook, always happy to help out. sharing inspiring travel stories is a big love of mine. I have an endless curiosity for the perspective of others, you can learn something from everyone, and i try to live life sharing everything i can, be that material, knowledge, or ideas.
