Hi! I’m Océane, a French girl from the sunny south of France, currently living out my dream: traveling the world for a year with my boyfriend. After working in Paris as an Engineering Team Manager, spending time in China, and living in Spain for a year, I decided to hit pause on the routine and say yes to freedom, new cultures, and unforgettable adventures.

I’m passionate about the sea, dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba—yes, I’ll always say yes to a dance!), Couchsurfing, and connecting deeply with people wherever I go. You’ll usually find me in remote villages, on off-road paths, or discovering hidden hiking trails far from the usual tourist routes.

I also have a deep interest in spirituality and personal growth, and I’m using this journey to explore more about myself and the world through that lens.

I believe in living fully, savoring the present, and letting curiosity guide the way. For me, travel isn’t just about places—it’s about people, stories, and those little moments that stay in your heart forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people in different places where I travel. To hangout with local people, and then discover the real country, and not the "superficial" one with the touristic aspect. Same if someone comes to visit my city, I'll be glad to hangout with and share good moments!

Before, I would have said going to Cameroon solo at 15, bungee jumping in China/ Europe, Skydiving, and surviving a 9-meter fall. But now, my answer is: quitting my job to travel the world! 🌎
