About Me
When people asked me where I'm from, it begs a complicated answer. I was born by the Pacific Ocean, in Vancouver, British Colombia. My family stayed there for a few years before driving half-way across the country to Montreal, Quebec. I learned French and had a lot of fun growing up in such a vibrant city. In 2009, we moved again, but to the East Coast. In Halifax, Nova Scotia, I lived between the forest and the beach, and spent my young adulthood navigating a completely different side of Canadian identity.
I spent six years in each city before finally coming back to Montreal in 2015, where I study journalism and religion at Concordia. I am an editor for a student publication called The Link. We have a strong mandate to represent underrepresented artists, be a voice for marginalized folks and to speak out against social injustice. As an arts editor, I put an important focus on queer and feminist art.
I love to journal, scrapbook and take photos—I love to document life.
Besides that, I have two bunnies named Quinoa and Couscous! If you stay with me, you'll definitely get to meet them.
