Update May 2024
I am about to embark on an adventure to do a study abroad program at the University of Lucerne (Rechtswissenschaften) with my 10 year old son.

I am currently looking for a place to stay in Lucerne from either August or September 2024 until Christmas 2024 or end of January 2025.
Any leads for inexpensive housing welcome preferable around CHF 500.
Otherwise
I am looking to connect with people for some outdoor activities.

ABOUT ME
I do have my own place and I have enjoyed many of you great couchsurfers.
Not as much active the past few years as parenting soemtimes puts a spanner in the wheel and dealing with separation another.
Otherwise I am actively volunteering in the area of mental health advocacy and suicide prevention.

I may still be able to host occasionally, so if you very keen, send me a message, best on a short notice.

I am a scientist, visionary and technology developer and adventurer at heart. I have moved from Germany to get my Ph.D. in the States. I have traveled the world have received great hospitality and have hosted numerous people I met randomly. Some of which have become long time friends. I recently moved to Hobart and still exploring this beuatiful Island. At the moment I am not able to host as I am still house hunting for this beautiful place with lots of space. The latest adventure was a bike trip around Tassie over Christmas holidays, 1300 km in 8.5 days, and back to hobart just in time for the TAste of Tasmania. The past few weeks enjoyed the Cygnet Folk Festival and last week the MONA FOMA. I am a very outdoorsy person who also loves the indoors, like museums, theater, opera or any other cultural event. open-minded and up for new things to explore.looking forward to this new lovely country
