About Me

I'm a very laid back vegan girl constantly experiencing agonising wanderlust! I have recently finished my undergraduate degree in England, studing art history, and am now living in Venice working for a private family and flouncing around the beautiful canals.
I am also a Buddhist and a compulsive yoga doer. I am always open to new people and love to hear new views and paths of life.
I talk constantly, and if we meet you can expect me to act as if we have been friends for years. I am a "compulsive over sharer" (- My Best Friend, every conversation ever), and will probably ask seemingly invasive questions...but always with best intentions I promise!
I have the most strange and wonderful mother who's worst nightmare is probably me signing up to a site like this. Does the pleasure in doing something your parents hate ever wear off?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On this site we are probably here for generally the same reasons! I love to travel and I am always eager for new experiences and a more insiders view of the places I visit. It seems like a fantastic way to combine interests and connect with people around the world who may not come into your life otherwise!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books are numerous and ever increasing! Most recently I have read a lot of Hardy, Scott Fitzgerald and van Goethe. I am rarely only reading one thing at a time. I think right now I am halfway through 4 different books! My friends can expect fairly regular update's in my new and bizarre insights on life based on what I'm reading at that moment. It's a constant roller coaster!
I am convinced that my music taste is utterly uncool. So we won't discuss that right now.
Movies is also a broad topic! But I watch on repeat: Amelie, Moulin Rouge, The Boat the Rocked, Nine, Frank...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to mind is something that a lot of my friends think is just bizarre and fascinating... I have a game that I like to play that I refer to as "the next train game". It's quite self explanatory. I go to the station and literally get on the next train. It's fantastic! I've ended up in wierd and wonderful places and I have never failed to find something unusual and interesting about each and every one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Strange views and philosophies on life, vegan food recipes, stories of my crazy parents and how I have my "unique" name, complaints about ex boyfriends, karma :)
