ABOUT ME

I love to meet people from all walks of life. I haven't done a lot of travelling in my earlier years as i was a busy body being an at home Mom to 4 amazing sons! I'm very grateful to be supporting my local community with volunteer work since 2014 through a local organization that supports the homeless, mental health, elderly etc. My lifestyle is that one of a minimalist however my travel hacking hobby allows me to travel often in "high" class. Ha! Don't be afraid to ask me about it. I love adventure and will try just about anything once. I'm an empath so beware, don't come to me with any hidden agendas, as I will bust you! I hosted a con from Kisumu Kenya and unfortunately he's on here still being hosted and still hosting. Lessons of life! Be careful folks he's good until he's not! I believe in Integrity and live my life by it!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm always interested in personal growth and very open minded. Loving one another is the most important thing to me. I love the spiritual journey and the personal growth that I've attained so far. I am very interested in Universal laws. My love to travel solo started in 2014 when I randomly booked a flight to China and since have traveled many parts of the world solo. Some of my favorite people to spend time with are Cambodians and I will always goes back there to be around them!

I love to meet all of the beautiful people from all over the world. It fills my heart and soul to connect with people from other countries and to learn about them and their culture! I believe there are earth school lessons in every single interaction we encounter in our lives. Yes even the not so good ones! This platform is a great way to explore cultures even from your own home! I am very keen on sharing, so my wee home is your home during your stay! I'm a gentle soul trying to make our world a better place and if you seek loyalty, patience, compassion, and empathy to name a few, then my couch is a place for you!

I love to sing and dance, camp, walks and hikes, roller blade, refurbish things, and I'm minimalist. I love different types of music except very busy Jazz and most Country music. I'm a huge fan for hunting for treasures and wardrobes at thrift stores and I created an extra income throughout my life refurbishing things and selling to happy customers online. I might have things you might want so just ask during your stay. Ha! I want to go skydiving really bad. Ha! I recently invested in a digital camera and looking forward to learning how to use it. Ha! Going to see a good flick at the theatre on occasion and even better a live play! My real passion is travel and adventure, and spiritual growth

I love just about any kind of music but my fave is good old rock and roll 70's and 80', Reggae, some Jazz and classical and always Meditation and nature music. Live music is the best but good tunes and dance around my house is fun too! I’ve never had cable tv but will watch a good movie on occasion. I read a lot of books mainly for the purpose of personal growth, self awareness and evolution! I’m curious about a lot of things and love to research and explore just about anything that's happy and healthy! Ha!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm in the hobby of flying in Business class and First class around the world using points and airmiles. On Cozumel Island, Mexico I've seen turtles lay their eggs at night.
I did an amazing helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon and landed for lunch and champagne. Was awesome!
I learned how to ride a motorcycle and got my bike license when I was 40. I went to hairdressing school with a class of 18 year olds when I was 42 years old and it was amazing! I was a full time Mom to 4 sons for 25 years of my life startng at 18. Ha! I went on an amazing Safari in Uganda and saw the big 5. I traveled solo to Egypt, Jordon, Israel and many other parts of the world! I flew by helicopter in a 4 seater plane through the glaciers of Northern BC! One of the most amazing things I've ever experienced was cuddling my first baby grand daughter for the first time. Alas a girl! Wheeeeew!

I can share my space (a couch or a private bedroom with Ocean view) food, talks, walks along the Ocean which is 100 steps from home, tours of interest of my city and a big hug when you leave to go to your next place!
