ABOUT ME

I find "about" sections extremely hard to write since I don't see how one can fit what they are "about" into a couple of concise paragraphs....but here it goes:

I recently graduated with a BS in Biological Anthropology. Graduate school is incredibly intimidating, so I'm taking time off to simply live and figure out what the heck I want to do with my life. I guess I'm just not in a hurry to "grow up" and get a "real job", so I'm moving across the country to intern at a horse farm near santa barbara. I hope that once I get out there I will be able to gain experiences that will ultimately make me a stronger, better, and wiser person. Hopefully I'll be able to forge some new friendships along the way too.

I do not really ascribe to a set religion (if any at all) but I think that honesty and kindness are two of the most important traits a person can possess. I try to cultivate good feelings wherever I go and derive a great amount of joy from meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS program, but have met many people that have utilized it. Right now I can not host but one day when I'm more settled I would love to be more involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before this winter I had surfed in Asheville, NC and most of my experience came from being "the girl on the couch" during the first 2 years of college. In January I moved/Couchsurfed across the country. All my hosts were kind, considerate, and I am so grateful for all of them. I could not possibly think of a better way to travel.
