CURRENT MISSION

I am currently on an approximately 14 month journey throughout South America, Asia, and depending on how slow I travel, Eastern Europe. I would love to meet locals in the various places I visit to share stories, drinks, meals, and other great times with.

ABOUT ME

I speak my mind openly. Doesn't mean I am rude or say rude things, just that I don't always consider the consequences or situation when I say something, which can be funny or (slightly) inappropriate. I feel that I am a good person, but find myself to be more open with strangers than with those closest to me. Go figure!

When I'm not traveling I sometimes consider hosting, depending on my schedule and plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met up with CSers in South America. It was always great to know locals as opposed to just fellow travelers.

Intereses

I am particularly fond of trekking. This doesn't always have to include long multi-day treks, but I do like to get out and do some day hikes when possible. When in cities this can also include good old urban hiking to get lost in a city. I am fond of cultural aspects and would like to know about great food from each country. I enjoy a drink like everyone else and can even be seen on the dance floor after a few drinks (only after a few drinks though).
