I plan to backpack through western (or eastern) Europe some day, and Couchsurfing just might be the perfect tool for this! I also want to improve my German language, and thought CS could be a perfect medium for Tandem

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had my first experience meeting a complete stranger through Couch surfing early in December.I've met other people who I've found out are couch surfers as well.Loving this website so far!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:

My favorite book is "Cell" by Stephen King, but I've read many other of his works. The Stand is another good book.

I've also read a couple of Chuck Palahnuik's books, and while they are not bad, I think that he is somewhat overrated.

Movies:

My favorite movie has to be The Big Lebowski. God only knows how many times I've seen that movie. I'm kind of a movie buff and could be stubborn when it comes to movie opinions.

Music:

I have three specific main favorite genres:

Post Rock: Explosions in the sky, Moonlit Sailor, Bark Psychosis, Ester Drang.

Shoegaze: Slowdive, Desolation Wilderness, Letting Up Despite Great Faults, Moscow Olympics.

Chillwave: We Are Trees, Washed Out, Purity Ring, DyE.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From coolest to least (but still) cool:

I've hugged a monkey in Thailand

I've stood next to the tallest building in the world (in Dubai)

I've been to Disneyland, Paris when I was a kid (scratch that off the bucket list!)

I have a lot to share when it comes to languages, especially English and Arabic. I can also talk about my experiences living in Palestine among other countries. I am an eager learner and a good listener and want to know everything there is to what is around us, from the smallest things to life changing ideas.
