ABOUT ME

Welcome to the biased section :P well I won't define and label myself since no one stays the same with time but one thing I hope won't change about me is the pleasure I get out of music and knowledge ... I'm not into partying, prefer a good walk in a moonlit park than a night in a bar ... and finally, forget all that you've read and meet me to know all about me.

PHILOSOPHY

Still evolving, but from what little I've read and experienced I tend to be attracted to stoicism and sufism.

I'm new here and haven't surfed yet.

Interests

Music, music and music! I play string instruments like the violin, guitar, bass, oud and a bit piano ... but my oldest interests as long as I remember are history, mythology and a bit science. I also love reading anything from philosophy to marvel comics. I'm trying to be fluent in French (learning it was the main reason behind joining this community), and lately I'm learning Spanish for the one month stay in Barcelona.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Star Wars, Men in Black, Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Lion of the Desert, French Kiss, Amadeus, Kill Bill, The motorcycle Diaries ... And surely many others
Music: I first listened to David Bowie and BB King when i was like 5 or 6 years, so rock and blues came first, then classical music, French chansons, tango, sevdah, progressive, psychedelic and indie rock, rai, jazz .... and any good music :)

Books: finished only few ones :P but i liked john Steinbeck's books such as of mice and men and East of Eden, also George Orwell's 1984 and animal farm.

We can share thoughts and experiences, and maybe practice our languages and speaking skills, after all the former is amongst the sweetest things the mind can experience, if not the only.
