About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keep challenging myself.
ABOUT ME
I am a 39 years-old Midwife and a foodie. Last year I decided to go back to school and study Traditional Chinese Medecine (Acupuncture, TuiNa massage, Dietetic, Qi Gong and Pharmacopea) That is a challenge :D
I've started travelling when I was a kid and have never stopped since. I love being in a new place, find out about its story (the big or the ordinary one), get to know new people, try new food.
I like the way couchsurfing bring people together. Great tolerance tool :)
PHILOSOPHY
Live your life. Make your choices.
There is always something positive in a situation. Sometime well hiden, but you can find it.
When encountering something new, try to understand it. That way you can really be connected to it, and enjoy it fully.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My door is open to others.
A lot of people slept on my couch, not especially using CouchSurfing.
I also slept on many couches while travelling or visiting Friends.
Also, I noticed that CS-people tend to be out-of-the-box, fun-to-hang-out-with, open-minded, surprising. I used to meet members of this Community, either when travelling or at home, through CS-events, meet-ups or parties.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I officially CouchSurfed was in Vancouver Island in 2011. It was like meeting Friends of a Friend. Very good first impression.
Then California, Canada, London, Switzerland, Thailand, Louisiana, Italy, Russia, Taïwan, Japan... You get a chance to access the secret parts of an area, making your journey unforgettable.
Some CouchSurfers became my temporary roomies.
Some became long-lasting Friends.
With other you will feel no special connection, but somehow it's always an overall positive experience.
