HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have plenty of couchspace in the house or if you prefer you can camp out near the babbling creek in the woods out back where I have some spots set up. I can try and provide you with transportation if all works out well. Can also show you around. You gotta get along with Byron my dog though, which isn't hard because he loves everyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Jamaica and in Australia and pretty much all experiences have been great. I have hosted many surfers through this site and a couple other similar sites. This way of travel is superior in so many ways than staying in dumpy motels!

Quick tip: Keep clean! When hitchhiking around the country I was picked up by many people who said they had never picked anyone up in their life and didn't think they would. Because I made a point of keeping myself kept, it made a huge difference. And trust me I am not a neat freak but a simple t shirt and jeans that aren't soiled with holes and the lack of the Charles Manson look really goes a long way. Then again the people who do eventually help you out if you are like that tend to be a much kinder breed.
