About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The beginning of the rest of my life.
ABOUT ME
I just finished my PhD in microvascular physiology. I studied cognition in Texas, art in Tasmania, and glycocalyx in Britain; I've surfed in Morocco, road-tripped through Serbia, and virus-hunted in Vietnam. Being monolingual is one of my greatest personal failings and my poor directional sense is a constant embarrassment. I waited tables in college, I lived in England for the last seven years, and I'm looking forward to being stateside for my next adventure in health policy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Though not through this site, I've been able to give transient folks a place to stay over the years while they sort out accommodation. I've hosted several visiting students and a few new arrivals to the city and I love how easy it is to help out. I hope to host more travelers when I'm re-settled next year. I've also been lucky to find a couch when I needed it while on the move myself. Sometimes it makes all the difference.
