ABOUT ME

You create what you think; you are what you think. That's my personal motto in life.

I am part Chinese, part Filipino but having lived in the Philippines for 25 years now, I'd say I'm 95% Filipino and 5% Chinese. I love traveling and meeting new friends, while getting a good glimpse of their interesting lives through personal stories. I can flexibly be a cowboy anytime, anywhere if the situation calls for it. I love entertaining people while being entertained in the process! I love to cook, shop, drink until I drop (although not all the time), and explore the world out there! I love meeting new friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I host. The world has indeed become a better place and has restored my faith and trust in humanity through CouchSurfing! Awesome experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whups, this is my first time to join CouchSurfing and it looks like a wonderful place for like-minded people. Excited to experience my first CS!

What I have done so far in my travels:

*Had my first roller coaster experience in Hong Kong. I refuse to ride roller coasters but conquered my fear anyway.
*Rode an open cable car in Beijing, China on my way to the MuTianYu part of the Great Wall. Scary and cold experience!
*On a separate 1-week official business trip to HK, observed their office culture and environment.
*Ate jelly fish and got a hair cut in HK-local style; not bad.
*Roamed the streets in Macau; too bad I'm a casino misfit.
*Took the Ha Long Bay Cruise in Hanoi, Vietnam.
*Enjoyed the beaches of Cebu and Bohol where I grew up.
*Got myself stressed with Manila's rush hour transportation after deciding to move here from Cebu.
*Enjoyed the many party places in Manila; one of the best places to have a nightlife in!

I like going out with friends on a drinking night or shopping. I love trying out the latest gastronomic offering so expect me to eat, eat, and eat and show you the best restaurants from cheap eats to fine dining ones.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I sing old songs when I'm in karaoke bars - from Frank Sinatra to Stevie Wonder. But I dance to the newest hits in the night clubs - Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Jessie J., Usher, Chris Brown.

My favorite movies of all time are Hotel Rwanda, Blood Diamond, Castaway, Anne Frank, and Schindler's List.

Books? I finished reading 'In the Presence of My Enemies' in one sitting.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Riding an open cable car in China for minutes - that's one of the scariest things I think I've done since I have a fear of heights.

The other would be eating jelly fish. I don't even eat Balut in the Philippines and someone had me eat jellyfish without me knowing. But it was good!

Maybe as a starter - safety is a top priority but TRUST with all your heart; after all, the world still has good people and that's what CS is all about.
