About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To LIVE, enjoy life and smile! Gain as much knowledge about myself, others and life - educate myself. To explore freedom, be adventurous and take risks.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at the University of Cape Town. I will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Property Studies in 2013.

I matriculated in 2006. Studied Theology for a year at Pneumatix Ministry College in Somerset West, South Africa. In 2008 I attempted a course in Musical Theatre at the Waterfront theatre school in Cape Town. I decided it was not the career path I wanted. In 2009 I studied Economics, Accounting, Law, and Financial Mathematics through the University of Cape Town after which I was admitted, in the following year, to study Property Studies at the University of Cape Town.

PHILOSOPHY

Over the years I have pinned down my own philosophy as seeing my life as my own journey through unexpected terrain. I have realised one cannot use other people's accomplishments, achievements, and their own journey as a measuring stick for one's own life.

If I wake up everyday with the purpose to improve my life in some way, big or small, with the ultimate purpose of doing so, so that I may be able to improve another's life in the future, I believe success has been achieved. It is also important to know how important self-respect and respect for others, self-discipline, self-education and diligence, time-management, being honest with oneself, having an open mind and being able to live a balanced life (in terms of your eating lifestyle, exercise, work, family and friends) is in completing your day to day goals and ultimately success (how ever you may view it).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been privileged enough to travel abroad and experience different cultures. Out of all the beautiful things one can witness on the planet it is quite hard to pin point my favourite.

However, the most exhilarating thing I have done was to bungy-jump off the Bloukrans bridge on the boarder of the Western and Eastern Cape. It is the highest bungy-jump in the world - the feeling of freedom mixed with the anxiety and terror that the elastic might snap in conjunction with the awe-inspiring views is quite amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has a story - their own experiences, culture and way of life. Life in terms of opinions and beliefs should not be argued or imposed, rather use time to discuss and learn, accept and embrace each other's inequities and good qualities and work on a sustainable way forward where everyone feels at home and not rejected, but accepted.
