About Me

Exploring Budapest again

Polish blood, Hungarian heart. I live in my beloved city Budapest, working in a big company, dreaming about becoming a monk in Tibet...

I studied Hungarian language and now I continue my education on my own. Apart from that I play bass, I observe people, I read and swear a lot, occasionally draw. I like beer and wine and cigarettes too, and books about Buddhism and sci-fi movies and comic books/graphic novels and movies based on them (explosions! mutants! laser kittens!). And I really don't like when it's cold. I'm outgoing, easy-going and other-going. Totally happy if have something to eat and place to sleep.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosting people in Budapest, but unfortunately I'm not able to do that at the moment. I can still hang out and show you places !

So far so good.

Music, Movies, and Books

From movies I especially like Throne of Blood directed by Kurosawa. And sci-fi movies.
I'm generally open minded when it comes to music, but my thing is electronic experimental techno and stuff like that.
Books? Sandor Marai is currrently my favourite one. Apart from that I really really like graphic novels - V for Vendetta, Watchmen(Alan Moore is THE guy) , Transmetropolitan belong to my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking trip to Bosnia&Hercegovina.
Gus Gus concert in Budapest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share all my knowledge about books, music, movies, art.
I can make spaghetti with tuna. And teach you how to open bottle of beer with lighter or spoon.
And because I went to music school, I can teach you how to read notes if you find it useful.
