ABOUT ME

Gay couple living in Hamilton, ON Canada
We have a summer home in northern Michigan in the US, but it is only seasonal (May to October)
Not accepting guests during Covid-19
We travel regularly and look forward to meeting others

In the city we have a guest room that will comfortably sleep 2 in a double bed.
We have space for up to 6 people at our summer home in Michigan. There are 2 guest rooms and a futon on the sun porch. The cottage will be closed for the winter and we will not reopen until May.

Gabriel, 42 , speaks fluent Romanian and English w/ a working familiarity in Italian, Spanish, French and German.
John, 74, speaks fluent English with limited working familiarity in French, Spanish & German

We are in Hamilton for most of the winter, but January we'll start feeling the draw southward toward the sun and warm nights.

We have hosted travelers but have yet to stay with anyone during our travels.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We have a wide range of tastes and interests; one night we are at the opera and the next we are at a rock concert or a hockey game. Our preference is for indie films, often in foreign languages. We attend theatre, concerts and sporting events regularly. During the sheltering in place we are fond of streaming foreign shows in their original language with sub-titles.

Both of us like zoos, art galleries, sports (baseball, soccer, hockey) live theatre and quiet dinners at home with guests (good food, good wine & good conversation) and out-of-the-way travel destinations.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Hamilton is at the western end of Lake Ontario half-way between Niagara Falls and Toronto. There is much to see and do in the Golden Horseshoe.
Our cottage is in the northern part of the lower peninsual of Michigan on a small lake deep in the woods with plenty of wild life and quiet.
