About Me
Hola!! Merhaba!! Hi!!
I have been traveling all my life, working abroad, studying abroad, exploring new cultures, learning new languages, getting to know new people, making friends, reading a lot, walking the unknown streets, and trying to find the best spots to have a coffee and write, observing people, observing life, loving others, being loved, taking photos, capturing stories, jumping off the cliffs, climbing the mountains, getting lost in the cities, experiencing life and tasting it...
I am a person who is trying to live life to the max without disturbing Mother Nature and
respecting all the creatures that exist on earth... Human beings, animals, plants, oceans, rivers,
mountains, and the air.
I am a minimalist, very well-organized, disciplined person. And open-minded.
During my studies abroad from 2012 to 2015, before starting my professional carrier, I had the pleasure to experience working in different fields such as working in different restaurant's kitchens as help and bars, helping elder people in their gardens, helping people with organizing their houses, doing translations for the companies, working in events and organizations, even sometimes washing dishes. I appreciate a lot having had those experiences in my life. Each of them added some strength to me.
I started working full-time in 2015 and worked in several corporate companies inside and outside of my country. I always have chosen to be on the road with my backpack on my annual vacations. Backpacking the Balkans, backpacking Southeast Asia, road tripping in California, exploring Latin America… I love traveling. Each time when ending my trips I told to myself: Maybe it is time to stay and not go back to that office anymore… Since 2015 my dream has been to get away from this corporate life and live the biggest experience of my life which is to be free, traveling and searching the knowledge, wisdom,, and friends not on the internet but in real life and in real countries.
Finally, I have decided to fulfill my dreams and left the office life behind at the end of April and have been on the road since then. I lived and worked in Cuba. Even though it was not my dream job to do, I did accounting for a tour operator only because it gave me the opportunity to work and live in countries such Dominican Republic, Greece, and especially Cuba which were always very interesting to me discover and where I also had the chance to learn Spanish.
After I quit my job I flew to Mexico where I started my trip at the beginning of May. Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Peru were the other countries that I traveled to until the end of August. Since then I have been having a break and spending time with my family in Turkey. I am flying to Brazil on November 26 where I want to stay as long as my visa allows and want to start my volunteer life and learn things, get new abilities, learn Portuguese, and get to know new communities and people. The most important to help other people and share.
This will be a great thing in my life that will change me and my life forever in a very good way. We all are here to live and to learn.
I love taking photos and writing. I have a blog on which I share some of my writings about life and my travels. I also have an Instagram which I use as a photo gallery. Below, please find the links to my blog and to my Instagram

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started hosting in 2011. I had a couple from the US/ New York. They were a very nice couple. They told me if one day I go to New York they will have a room for me. At that time I wasn't sure if I would ever go to New York but 4 years later I traveled to NY and I stayed in their apartment in New York. That's why I love couchsurfing. it allows you to meet people from all over the world.
