My name is Oğuzhan, I am a 24 yo university student from Cologne, Germany.

I'm a student of conference interpreting and in general I'd say that I'm a geek when it comes to languages.

I also do combat sports and play some music...so we could either fight or sing together!

Travelling, working or studying abroad have by far been among the most memorable and valuable experiences I've ever made. Every time I come back from a voyage I am planning where to travel next - I hope and can't wait to meet you on my next journey !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling to me means meeting locals and not staying in lifeless hotel rooms or party hostels. It's the way I have been discovering the world since the beginning and I don't regret it.

Sharing your home or food, simply caring for a host/foreign guest, is an act of true kindness, a manifestation of bold trust, high virtue and generosity. I am truly convinced that the altruistic culture of giving and sharing teaches you humbleness, modesty and gratitude - the reason I admire Couchsurfers ever since my first experience !
