About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a sociable person, relaxed, curious, easy going, funny and always try to be positive !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoy sometimes travelling on my own and meet local people. That is why I on Couchsurfing. This way of travelling allows me to keep unforgetable memories from a city and the hosts !

My first couchsurfing experience was in Bergen (Norway - 3 days - 2013). I loved the contact with the local people that warmed up the cold and cloudy weather of Norway.

The second one happened in Shanghai (China - 1 week - 2014). During my way back from Vietnam to Belgium, I decided to take a long lay-over in Shanghai. I stayed there 1 week in a flat shared by 2 guys. They were very interesting, open minded. We hanged out at some places such as live concerts (chinese rock, jazz music in the old french concession), visted some places (Ikea restaurant, port of shanghai...).

The third couchsurfing experience was in Budapest (April 2016)

Interests

My first interest by far is to travel and meet local people.
The second one is swimming. Unfortunately, I had to reduce my swimming time when I entered university and replace it by beer.
I also like watching movies (I'm a huge fan of Ghibli's movies) and photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Anapurna range in Nepal before the sunrise. Probably the best view I've ever seen !

Teach, Learn, Share

As an agricultural engineer, I'm widely interesting in fields related to the environment. Especially for the challenges that we are facing for the future (lack of natural resources, overconsumming society...)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge of my small and flat country history and culture with some BELGIAN fries and beers.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
