CURRENT MISSION
Searching for anything inspirational & thought-provoking
ABOUT ME
I was born in Suwon, South Korea but moved (alone) to the US at the age of 15 to study abroad. Spent 10 years to get my high school diploma, B.S in Engineering and master in medical science. After having had some work experience in Boston, I moved back to my country where I am currently living with my family (mom, dad, 2 younger sisters). I recently quit job and am looking to travel New York, London, Paris and possibly Berlin. My goal is to explore the urban life styles around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I was grown up in a typical, well-rounded family where I was demanded to live a 'successful' life: to go to college, get a job, do what other people do and be financially secure. Life that looks good to other people. But I wonder if that's the life I'd like to persist. I started focusing on inner-me, or authentic self, to figure out how to live well and be happy that matches to my own standard. I still want to live a 'successful' life, but now with a different point of view. Probably life with quality, rather than quantity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although I've been a member of Courchsurfing since 2008, I never stayed active. But when a few months ago my sister and a cousin shared with me their experiences with CouchSurfing, I decided to stay more active in Couchsurfing. I am looking to meet lots of good friends through this website.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. To live life as a foreigner for 10 years
2. To travel and meet lots of people with amazing stories. The time I spent in other countries became my life-time memory.
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I can teach & share as a couchsurfer: Korean if anyone interested, and how to enjoy and cook Korean food. Having lived in two different countries and travelled many countries, I can also share my life story as being a foreigner, backpacker and Korean.
Things I'd like to share: the ordinary life of yours, plus your personal experience and philosophy. Anything ordinary & inspirational :)
