About Me

Exploring and enjoying

I am a friendly, Danish germanophile (and ex-literature) student living in Copenhagen, I sing a lot and think that the world is a cool place! I like to meet people from other countries than my own. I like to meet people from my own country. I like to meet people. Fresh perspectives are essential (I already said "I" a lot - not good!). And I like to put things in brackets.I always wanted to become some kind of artist, like an opera singer, so that I could live with and from art and not study it - but when I found out I didn't really have imagination or anything moving to say (OR an opera voice), I dropped it and decided to appreciate it from my couch. I've been enjoying the couchsurfing community in Berne and been inspired to host once I've got my own place here in Copenhagen. If you need someone to drag to a museum, play or other cultural stuff, I could be your 'man'. If you afterwards want a clever opinion, I'm probably not in possession of such a thing, but I'll gladly share my thoughts. If you have some cool German phrases you estimate will come in handy or might impress someone, feel free to tell me. Swearwords are more than welcome.

Don't always trust first impressions but try to make a good one of yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not too active, I'm afraid.

Meetups in Bern, Switzerland and couchsurfed in Helsinki. Currently not very active.

Books, singing, laughing!, spending time with my dear ones, beer, good food, music, creativity, exploring new places, old and new history of Copenhagen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Danish folk songs, grammar and give you some recommendations on Danish literature and music. I am good at trivia games, so pick me for your team if you're playing Trivial Pursuit :)
I'm also a guide on the blue canal boats in Cph, so join a tour and let me show you around!
