I moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama a few years ago after college in Virginia. I was born in Seattle, and since then, have been bouncing around the South for most of my life. I work in museums as an art handler and exhibit installation specialist, and continue to volunteer for non profits, festivals, and arts organizations at every chance I get.

I travel often while pretending to be an adult.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted and been hosted! I'd love to create an active community of couchsurfers in Tuscaloosa. Most of my CS friendships have been lasting ones.

Interests

Driving with the windows down, wrap-around porches, family, organic farming, beer-brewing, vegetarian cooking, reading, jazz vocalists, etc.

I realized recently that most of my traveling have been to cities, so I'm shifting my course. I'm currently planning several trips around scenic excursions and good food.

I want to learn anything about living in the outdoors, anything that involves hard work, languages, cooking skills. I can recommend good readings, offer astrological advice, and quote Wet Hot American Summer at the most opportune moments. I really just want to know a lot about a lot of different things.
