ABOUT ME

Hi, we are Dexter and Kylie! We Live in Long Beach which is an awesome city near Los Angeles and Orange County. We live pretty close to the beach and there is a ton of fun things to do around here. We are a pretty adventurous and active couple who like to go on trips whenever we get a chance. We are both working students and have pretty varied schedules, but like to find time for fun whenever possible. We enjoy camping, hiking, going on spur of the moment weekend vacations, snowboarding, kayaking, bike rides, going to the beach, and going out to bars and events with friends.

We just moved into a bigger place and now have enough room to host travelers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't yet couch surfed with anyone, but we cant wait to meet people from different places!

Intereses

Our interests are camping, hiking, hookah, snowboarding, kayaking, bike riding, going to the beach, bars, live music, movies, amusement parks, and traveling.

Besides school books, neither of us do very much personal reading.

Dexter really loves movies:
Some of my favorites are 300, Starship Troopers, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hook, Memento, Super Bad, The Prestige, Original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shawn of the Dead, Boondock Saints, Reservoir Dogs, The Princess Bride, The Never Ending Story, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, The Count of Monte Christo, Interview with the Vampire, Sandlot, Garden State, Sweeny Todd, Zoolander, True Romance, Fight Club and a few other great ones.

Kylie doesn't really care for movies all that much:
I like movies like Clueless, Dumb and Dumber, The Holiday, Inception, but mostly girly movies and comedies. Anything else puts me to sleep.

We both have pretty similar tastes in music. We like hip hop, rock, and electronic music. Dexter hates country, but Kylie doesn't mind it.

Dexter:
I've backpacked across Europe for a summer. I went to Germany, Austria, Italy, France and the U.K. I've also been to Guatemala, Mexico, New Zealand and Australia. I've been to about half of the States in the U.S. I want to be a life long traveler!

Kylie:
I'm slightly less traveled than Dexter, but I've been to the U.K., Mexico, and all over the U.S. I want to travel to so many more places though!
