About Me

CURRENT MISSION

global warming world trip: unseasonably cold/wet and unexpected heat waves.. when will it end?

ABOUT ME

i was born in New York City and am of Polish decent. Ive traveled around the USA a lot for school, work, and fun, and im finally taking a big trip to explore the rest of the world. From May 5th to Sept 15th i'll be bouncing around eastern europe, taking the tran-siberian railroad into china, then exploring india, indonesia and thailand.

PHILOSOPHY

quotes i like which i try to live by:
Dream as if you'll live forever, live as you'll die tomorrow.
What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger.
Go big, or go home.
Its 5 o'clock somewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydived over lake taupo in new zealand, it was the last jump of the day, a beautiful sunset, with Mt. Doom (from Lord of the Rings fame) in the background. "spectacular" doesnt even begin to describe it.

How gelato is different from ice cream:
- ice cream typically has a minimum of 10 percent fat, and gelato has about 5 to 7% (its made with a greater proportion of whole milk to cream)

-ice cream can contain as much as 50 percent air while Gelato contains about 25 to 30 percent air (gelato is churned at a slower speed than ice cream, so it's denser because not as much air is whipped into the mixture)

- ice cream is typically served frozen, but gelato is typically stored and served at a slightly warmer temperature

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ireland, Serbia, Turkey
