ABOUT ME
A friend from a previous job introduced me to this website, and it instantly reminded me of a network of Esperanto speakers around the world who open up their homes to fellow speakers. That is a network I've used, and hosted for for years, and to find that the idea is being implemented on a vaster scale via the internet made me truly happy.
I am, in general, a very happy person. Life is an individual flash of lucidity between two seas of darkness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before Couchsurfing existed, I slept on several couches of fellow Esperantists.

Pico Iyer's "The Global Soul," Alain de Botton's "The Art of Travel," Tanizaki's "In Praise of Shadows," and Michel de Montaigne's "Essais" are some of my favorite books.
