ABOUT ME

I am a married domestically pop punk mom of two boys. I laugh all day at the absurdity of things...I hate it here in Dallas, it's not my type of city at all. But, have two boys and they need stability more than I need to move to another country. I am busy with work, I teach Art and photography at a high school in Dallas and coach soccer teams, and play on two different soccer teams, indoor and outdoor.I am truly occupied with bagging leaves, mowing the lawn, hanging doors, tiling the floor, picking up dog poop, doing the laundry, making dinner, cleaning, standing on my head while singing Edith Piaf songs (all in French), giving every opportunity in my spare time to make sure that I am spending quality time with the kids (i.e. reading books, painting, hugging, giving hair cuts, kissing boys that don't want to be kissed, breaking up fights, running my own kid to stuff taxi service...)and having an adjusted and positive attitude while I am doing all this with my eight arms that have morphed onto my body out of pure necessity, while answering 327 times a day "why we are doing school work in school" to a plethora of 15, 16, 17, and 18 year olds who obviously know everything already.....and look well rested, caring, with polished nails, and not forgetting to smile.....oh, and I am doing all this with Baudelaire, Bukowski, Rimbaud, , Dostoevsky, Aristotle, Jim Carroll, Brecht, JG.Ballard, and all the other "small people" who entertain my twisted mind. In between my rule of plutocracy and being on the cover of swimsuit issues, I meagerly find time to paint, print b/w photo’s, travel and be a good wife. I've tried to invent new flowers, new stars, new flesh, new tongues, but decided to throw it all away, along with any silence, and be a mere , although exotic, worker bee human person thing. All creatures have a fatality for happiness. Even my pregnant dog! (WHICH, adds another thing to fit in, stay up all night and help the Moxie dog have her pups, and if one is a runt, nurse it all night with a bottle, or my own nipple, because I could bring on sympathetic dropping of milk....) I LOVE MY LIFE!!! Really, I do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have a new large house in Richardson TX.
I surfed in France, London and Spain last summer with my two kiddo's for 6 weeks. Excellent experience. Have a couch for someone in need. The groups are interesting on the site! Summer 2010 June- Headed back out to Europe with my boys 10yrs. and 12 yrs. to France and planning on going to Dublin Ireland and maybe Scotland...still planning the what and where thing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

excellent, traveled for 6 weeks with my 9 and 11 year old kids! Surfed the whole time in Europe!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Come and hang out! good food and interesting world thoughts and conversation. WE request that if you stay with us. You cook dinner one night that reflects your country. Also, bring a map of where you are from! Alternative everything, I skip to another drummer! My family is wide open to new people and new experiences! WE have a pool, and an extra "media" room now for resting and sleeping.
