I'm currently working full time and beginning training as a California naturalist. I try and spend most of my free time hiking in the redwoods or working on my 87 VW Vanagon.

I'm all about CouchSurfing. This website and this way of travel allow us to make friends, get a roof over our head, and to experience the perspective of a local - all without paying a dime. Well... Lately, we have been really into fermentation. If you're at all curious about kimchi, sauerkraut, wine, cider, kombucha, beer, lacto-soda, nut cheeses, pickles, or anything fermented, we could probably teach you. I teach classes on backpacking skills & how to use a map and compass to find your way in the backcountry so if you're curious, I could help with that too.
