About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world before getting old!

ABOUT ME

Just graduated master in Public Administration in Leiden University in the Netherlands. So last two years was working on that, but meantime love to climb and travel as neither in NL or Latvia had options to climb!
Graduated 2month ago, now looking for a job, but it seems impossible so i decided not to sit at home and do nothing even though cannot afford to travel, no work no money. But luckily i found cheap tickets for this summer so it would be a shame not to use them:)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only experience i had was with my Dutch housemates, when once in a while some surfers arrived to our house to stay for some days, it was cool, s many nice and interesting people.
I guess that most of the time people who decide travel like this will be in some way interesting, at least have not heard any bad stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have seen is Russia. 5 years ago when i decided to start climbing i took a beginners course for mountaineering where exams and practical stuff supposed to happen in Caucasus near Mt. Elbruss (some say the highest mountain in Europe, i might disagree). We toked a train from Riga( Lativa) to the border of Georgia where all climbing stuff should take place. 3 days in train wow taht was amazing, i have seen such views just in movies and people they were so friendly, of course lot of vodka drinking(Russia :)). The month i slept in a tent was crazy but all the mountain views, climbs and people around - i was in love with the mountains and I still am:).
Actually all my climbing trips to mostly to France, Italy and Norway( winter - ice climbing) are so amazing that it is hard to put that here ;).
