About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to contribute to positive change in this world

ABOUT ME

I really, really like food.

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to question everything that is life. I havent found any answers yet. i dont really expect to, because i dont know if i believe that there are any. i know i do believe in the law of attraction, so i work with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

oh man i could go crazy. im one of those who, if you like mainstream, will have music that you have never heard of.
also, i have very eclectic taste... i like anything that is good. i know, that is objective, but here is some: cursive, minus the bear, heather duby (yay saddle creek records), one giant leap, built to spill, tegan and sara, imogen heap, dave mattews band, immortal technique, car bombs and allah, atmosphere, regina spektor, broken social scene, john mellencamp, the beatles (who doesnt love them?), tom petty and the heartbreakers, modest mouse, john butler trio, and finally listening to anyone play an instrament, and any new music you would love to share!
movies? i really like what the bleep, and little miss sunshine, and rang de basante, documentaries, skate videos
books, i love to read, but i dont devote as much time to it as id like to...
omnivore's dilemma, the red book, the power of now, the soul of rumi, anything by paulo cuelho (the alchemist, veronica decides to die, witch of portabello)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

im in india for 9 months, and i was arrested during an act of civil disobedience in support of UC jobs for food service workers in Davis. and i almost died falling off a waterfall. i'v seen women give birth. amazing. i'v seen gatherings at the river ganga. more than one, but those are good enough to mention.

Teach, Learn, Share

i will soon be a certified yoga teacher, and i have taken and done fairly well in math (calc) and chemistry (general and organic).
