About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Mission" sound too serious, I don't feel I have any :)
ABOUT ME
I am rather introvert, but I like to meet people and learn about them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I can't host people on a regular basis, and so far I've been more guesting than hosting, but it's a pleasure for me to show you around in Moscow and drink a cup of tea with you. And in case you really have no place to go, you can write to me, and we'll try to figure something out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used to travel a lot when I was a student, and with the help of CS I met a lot of nice people. Some of them became my friends for years later on. CS definitely helps to learn more about life in other countries "from inside", and that's what I really appreciate about it.
Interests
People, stories, subtleties & details, music, drawing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm fond of Nina Simone and J.S. Bach. Also I am into different kinds of folk music.
From Russian literature I like (and highly recommend) B. Pasternak's "Doctor Zhivago" and A. Pushkin (different things). One of my favourite writers is Meir Shalev (from Israel). I also like fairytales and books for teenagers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While studying in Tartu, Estonia, I hitchhiked home in one day, on New Year's Eve, to make a surprise for my family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you some nice places in my home city, Moscow. As I mentioned above I like folklore. I can show you some rare examples of traditional Russian songs that were recorded in the villages all over the country.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belarus, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine
Countries I’ve Lived In
Estonia, Greece, Russian Federation
