Hi! I'm a recent graduate who is simply trying to "figure it out". Before beginning my career I'm traveling while I have the time and ability, and also trying to figure out what that career is. I'm and extremely friendly and open minded person, though I can be a bit shy at first. I love to laugh, especially at myself. I'm definitely a fun-loving person and enjoy people who don't take life too seriously.
I'm an avid hiker and love backpacking. I've been fortunate enough to go on several backpacking trips in the United States at Zion and Bryce in Utah, Saguaro in Arizona, White Sand Dunes in New Mexico, Red River Gorge in Kentucky, and a small part of the Appalachian Trail in Massachusetts and Vermont.
I'm a social drinker and love going out to bars and such with friends. However I have to say that my favorite part of going out is always drinking and talking with everyone before going out. I'm also always just as happy staying in, watching a movie and eating a ton of brownies and chips.
I'm also a really clean person and would be more than willing to help an host with cleaning up the place and washing dishes.
Oh also I'm an avid crafter.
I love to travel, and wish it could be a full time job.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Obviously you travel to see new places, but I think one of the best parts of traveling is meeting new people and I think Couchsurfing is the best way to do this. Through Couchsurfing you're able to meet other like-minded individuals.
I also think staying with somebody who lives in the city you're visiting is the best way to get to know a city as the host will be able to tell you more about the city than any google search ever could.
Though I'm traveling now, when I settle down I hope to continue using Couchsurfing as a host. I think hosting will bring traveling to me as it will introduce me to so many new and interesting people and will allow me to give back to the Couchsurfing community.

I think I have a fairly varied taste in music, sometimes I want to listen to something a little more fun and poppy like the Chainsmokers but sometimes I'm in a mood where I want to listen to the Arctic Monkeys, the White Stripes, or Cage the Elephant. My all time favorite musicians are: Alt-J, Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, and Bon Iver.
I'm not an avid movie watcher, for me to sit down and watch something for two hours it has to be good. My favorite genre of film is coming of age movies. I really like movies that tell simple realistic stories in a really beautiful way. I love almost every Judd Apatow film, and my favorite movie is Boyhood.
Now that I've graduate college I can finally start reading for pleasure again which is amazing. I really love reading historical novels, my favorite book is "Out of Egypt" by Andre Aciman. I also really enjoy reading autobiographies by funny ladies like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling.

I climbed Angel's Landing in Zion, Utah and am also TERRIFIED by heights. Wouldn't do it again, haha.
