About Me

hey! i'm Ola, a 24-year-old from Poland, currently based in Wrocław. i've been pretty hooked on backpacking and meeting people from all over the world for a while now. since i did my Erasmus in Berlin, i've been exploring different opportunities to immerse myself in different cultures - from volunteering in SEA, through randomely moving to Budapest, to becoming a couchsurfing host!!

i'm open-minded, spontaneous and always up for exchanging stories, discovering hidden spots, or doing some good old cafe hopping:) i love taking cute pics, going on spontaneous adventures, and seeing cities through the eyes of locals.

if you're hosting me - i'd love to do my own research on your city and maybe rediscover it together? i'm pretty good at finding hidden gems! anyway, whatever we end up doing, i'm sure it'll be something cool - as the randomness of it all is what makes couchsurfing the greatest platform EVER!!

Interests

anything that has to do with meeting other people - whether that's discovering new events in my city, hosting surfers, discussing stuff at poetry nights, playing bingo at my favorite bar, attending different workshops, contact impro classes, daytrips with my friends etc etc
i'm honestly super open as to what catches my attention and wouldn't limit myself to just one set of interests, so if there's anything you could introduce me to - i'd love to hear more about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

during my Budapest days i exchanged my apartment with a few girls from the facebook group called Host a sister. thanks to that, i could for instance live in the center of Naples completely for free, drive around the Italian villages with a local i met on Bumble, host a dinner party for some people i connected with via couchsurfing and romanticize my dolce far niente!! it is definitely one of my warmest memories off the top of my head:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

i think i'm a very flexible person with quite a good sense of social cues, so i can honestly accompany you in whatever you're up for. if that means going on a crazy daytrip together- that's lovely, but if we catch a vibe and you wanna spend an evening yapping over a cup of tea - i'm all for it:) my surfers have definitely accompanied some very random stories in my life and i think that's the magic of CS - you genuinely never know what's in the cards for your trip each time
