About Me

I'm addicted to traveling. Ever since I started sailing, I cannot imagine otherwise to explore the world :) This way you can see the most, at least so far, I think. I love meeting new people, sit on coffee in a quiet cafe and soak up nature as it is. Therefore, do not give up hiking and sleeping in a tent!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope that I will know inspiring new friends, new places and I can therefore see and experience more than what you will read from the travel guides.

Interests

Definitely sailing. The adventure of sailing began in 2010. Since then, every moment I spend under sail - it gives me a sense of freedom and so much fun, and perhaps most importantly - the opportunity to meet new interesting people and experiencing nature, such a wild and unspoiled.

Secondly, food and cooking - preparing meals for friends gives me as much pleasure as sailing. I love to experiment in the kitchen. I love to cook something out of nothing;)

Thirdly music - without it I cannot imagine life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is quite eclectic, but mostly I listen to Polish reggae, but soul, blues and sometimes classic music cause me a pleasant chills :)

Movies: I really like a documentary movies but a good thriller, a belly hurting comedy, musical or drama (from time to time) or just a feel-good movie... all are welcome!

Currently, I do not read much, but on my shelves there are several interesting items and a couple of books that impressed me like The Magus by John Fowles and Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (good historical romance) - after reading this I decided to visit Scotland, in which I fell in love right away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped rebuild the book collections in the village library of the Polish countryside - quite a long story ;) - library burned and only a few books survived... and than I started sailing!
