ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Aleksandra (shorter version is Ola) and I am 22 now. I am studying Advertising Management at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland.
Every year I try to visit new places. In summer 2015 me and my friend have decided to go to London for 3 months and during this time we have experienced human unselfish help what is of particular significance to me that travels to open on other people.

Last year I have decided to go outside my comfort zone and study in Australia which helpes me to look at the world from different perspective (literally ;) ).

I think that I am easy-going, open and talkative person and you will never have a problem with me as your guest ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met an inspiring people who shared wity me so many incredible stories and inspired me to do more.
I love to discover places prom locals perspective and that is why I support the idea of couchsurfing.

Interests

I love discovering new places, taking pictures with old cameras like Zenit and spending time outside. Moreover, I like alternative (Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, Foals) and electronic music (Crystal Castles, Crystal Fighters, The xx,BOKKA), but to be honest my favourite band is Hocus Pocus- guys from France who mix hip-hop with jazz sounds.I am also interested in street art, especially Banksy and Obey Giant. I try to spent my free time as active as it is possible, that's why I swim, ride on the bicycle and rollerblades. When it comes to cinematography I like Krzysztof Kieślowski's, Pedro Almodovar's and Wes Anderson's movies. I am not a bookworm but I admire Henning Mankell's output. I would like to learn Spanish and visit India.
