ABOUT ME

I moved to the UK three years ago (I'm still trying to get used to this weather here!)to study at sixth form. At the time when I'm not working or studying, which happens more often than I'm likely to admit, I do everything to travel, learn and cook (all at once if possible).
When the weather in the UK is too much for me to handle, I go back to Poland to hike and tell everyone 'I'm so tired I can't breathe and think but this is the happiest I could ever be'.
I tend to sit/lay in the most bizarre places - whether it's the middle of the street or a shop floor so my trousers have probably touched every possible ground.
Unintentionally I tend to embarrass myself all the time, no matter what I say or do.
And as for a proper part-time procrastinator, I can go jogging and swimming to delay writing essays.

Interests

Anything and everything! Apart from traveling and trying new food (so then I have something I can crave for)I'm a real bookworm losing track of time whenever I find a good book.
Not a fan of shopping, unless it has something to do with buying new trekking shoes, books and food.
Above all I LOVE finding completely irrelevant factoids which I can then use to make people laugh (like... tomtato?) or think that I'm a complete weirdo.

Music, Movies, and Books

As to the music I like pretty much everything, starting with oldies, through 70s and 80s to musicals (yes, Les Miserable and Phantom of the Opera are amazing. Period.). I'm always open to new ideas :)

Some of my favourite films include Ocean's Eleven, Sherlock Holmes (the one with Robert Downey Jr), the Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, Shutter Island, Inglorious Basterds, American Beauty and Vicki, Cristina, Barcelona. And obviously a girly classic - Titanic I'm a fan of weird and twisted films that end in the most unpredictable ways.

Books? Everything except for sci-fi and cheesy romance. Preferably something like Into Thin Air, The Master and Margarita or Lord of the Flies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have dissected hearts and kidneys (oh joy of doing an a-level in biology!), have seen an autopsy and didn't get lost using London underground on my own (because it's the little things that matter too).

Also hitchhiked, camped and hiked in Norway on my own.

Recently managed to guide groups of 30 students from all around the world in London and didn't lose anyone!
