ABOUT ME

i am a strong willed (inherently stubborn), food loving, gracious little starfish/wannabe mermaid, a wise old owl at heart...a creative creature of sorts!
i'd say i'm pretty intuitive and unafraid of being in the world alone.

i play country-blues and ragtime music! i am a guitarist of five or six years and just recently started learning some klezmer tunes on my accordion.

i just wanna keep movin'/adventuring and continue to meet all the best folks!

i love couchsurfing! until recently, i was but a couchsurfer sleepin on many a friendly strangers couches. these days, i have had the pleasure of hosting some real rad folks while living in santa cruz. hooooray!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

too many great experiences to name. zero bad experiences to date.... a few super awesome epic experiences! so thankful!

can't hang with the majority of movies, i usually don't read books, but muuuusic on the other hand...

i'm reallllly into lots of old time music right now...trad.jazz, dixieland/ragtime, piedmont and delta blues. i've also been listening to heck-tons of klezmer and eastern european musics. yyyeaaaahhhh.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

my first hitchhiking experience... 200 miles across florida with four other strangers ....finding a dumpster full of DONUTS...free pizza, free booze, free money, then i ended up on an island and almost sank into some quick sand, inhabited by hoards of conch, in the still of the night. woah! this is what life can be like without a job??? ill take it!

i can share with you my knowledge of cooking (especially mexican food and vegan food and pizza making), playing with clay, playing guitar/banjo/musical saw, binding books, drawing, basic color and composition, collaging, changing a bike tire, photography, dumpster diving and a couple dice games... :)
