ABOUT ME

I moved to Oakland from NC over five years ago. The Bay Area is fantastic on so many levels. I have especially been drawn to and appreciated the safety it provides for queerness.

I'm still on a path of seeking - asking questions and deepening in listening to the whispers that intend to guide. I feel compelled to pursue the depths of the human mind, soul, and body.

Since moving here I have studied both massage therapy and astrology, spent 4 years at an office job witnessing/experiencing what conventional success looks like, felt the crest of love and the catacombs of loneliness, and soaked in the wisdom of some beautiful mentors. I have such gratitude for all that has led to now, and a potent blend of excitement and confusion about all that is leading into tomorrow.

PHILOSOPHY

Love is the matrix of everything. We so easily forget this, and the perceived distance that ensues can create a story that rules our lives. Yet, it is glorious how just as easily we can be agents of dissolution to those stories, bringing the reality of Love back into clear focus, even if just for a moment.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had just watched the sun set over the Indian Ocean. I was on a sand bank far off the coast of Zanzibar - away from all light pollution - with only the sand under my feet, the wind testing my balance, and the sky stretching beyond my vision's capacity: the most brilliant, spectacular, vast, intricate sight I had ever taken in! I saw the entire Milky Way in all it's shades of black, blue, and shimmer. I have never felt more connected to everything; realizing my position in the universal network of planetary bodies and existing beings. It is one of the most beautiful moments of my life thus far.
