Overview
About Me
Third-year language and literature student at MSU (Moscow state university). In love with linguistics, literature, art, cinema, history and all the “humanitatis” stuff. Looking forward to see the places, the people and I’m glad CS is here to help with that.
Born in Prague, Czech Republic. Studying now in Moscow. Soon back in Prague.
Unfortunately, I can’t host now, because I’m living in the dorms.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that staying at someone’s is a very good way to get to know the culture of a country/town from the inside.

Music, Movies, and Books
Long live cinema! I mostly value auter-centered, perspective-changing films: Godard, Bergman, Truffaut, Resnais, Marker, Tarkovsky, Fellini, Visconti, Antonioni, Wenders, Kurosawa, Shpalikov, Buster Keaton and so on... Music: Psoy Korolenko (russian underground musician), Karel Kryl (Czech 60-s opposition musician), French songs and singers (Polnareff, Aznavour), The Smiths, Grazhdanskaya Oborona. Classical mussic is great inspiration as a well (Chopin, Bach, Dvořák). But overall, I’m open to exploring new horizons in music and in all the other art forms.
But still, literature is my biggest passion. Important names are: Kierkegaard, Leo Tolstoy, Vladimir Sorokin, Shakespeare, Cervantes, Kundera, Ibsen, Kesey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Born as a bilingual. Now trying not to forget Czech and become byelingual.
