Hey, I'm Olek, software programmer living in Christchurch, New Zealand. I was born in Gdańsk, Poland but I've lived in NZ most of my life.

Despite my technology-based job I absolutely love the outdoors and there's nothing better than spending my time tramping and staying in New Zealand's awesome back-country huts. When I'm not doing that I'm either off watching live music or nerding out and playing various tabletop games with friends.

I listen to a bit of every genre of music, but my favorites are metal, progressive rock and folk.

Books-wise, I love fantasy and science fiction, as well as history. Tolkien, Laird Barron, Lovecraft, Sapkowski.

I'm not a big movie watcher, but if I had to choose I prefer Sci-fi movies, no matter how bad they are.

I have a pretty good knowledge of what exciting outdoors things there are to do in the South Island of NZ which i'll happily share with you. Likewise, I'd love advice on hiking in your country! I also love sharing and exchanging music suggestions and food recipes!

Providing the correct ingredients can be found, I've been told my Thai curries are pretty good. This is assuming you can handle the heat. If Thai isn't your thing my Indian curries are passable, or if curry isn't your thing at all I can at least make some pierogi.
