Exploration of the world is the main purpose of my life.
Spending my adolescence years in research biological expeditions with my father, I was able to get acknowledgeable with diverse landscapes of Kazakhstan ecosystem deserts, semideserts, steppes, mountain forests, alpine meadows and proglacial zone.
The knowledge of such biotope variety caused my further education in the field of biology and ecology. I earned my Specialist Degree from Pedagogical University and selected a research path in Ukraine National Academy of Science.
I have a Ph.D. in Biology (specialization: ecology)
My experience:
Planning, organization and management research of industrial region ecosystems;
Ecosystem condition assessment (soils, flora and fauna) on planned construction sites of
industrial facilities;
Field research of soils, vegetation, fauna, preparation of materials for nature reservation;
Vegetation, lithogeochemical and soil mapping using geographic information systems, data analysis, spatial applications, statistical analysis;
Field training for students & experience the field research camps management
Evaluation of mining impact on the environment;
Development of correcting management of ecosystems in industrial regions;
Postgraduate supervision and training/ teaching soil science, phytosociology,
biogeochemistry, ecology, mining lands restoration.
I have a driving license (category А, B), welding experience (MMA), the experience of working with a chainsaw, good climbing skills & able to repair electrical equipment and vehicles.
I can carry out the fieldwork, which may include the travel to remote areas by vehicle, boat, air or foot, overnight or extended stay in rough camp conditions and outdoor work in all weather conditions; I have experience of long-term expeditions.
