I am a PhD student and study biophysics in Kiev. All my free time I try to spend on travelling. I like long expeditions through the beautiful mountains, rafting on rapid rivers, ski expeditions behind the polar circle. After my expeditions I usually travel around the country, visit cities and villages. Especially I like meeting interesting people during my trips.

Also interested in blacksmithing. Studying at Kyiv centre of traditional blacksmithing art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, staying at hotels is a bit boring. But travelling alone in foreign countries encourages you to dive into the real life of the country. You meet new people; see differences between customs and traditions of different nations. It is a very interesting life experience. Often you meet good people and sometimes you may remain friends for a whole life. Couchsurfing helps me to be a free traveler. And it is quite funny :)
