Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am not well-experienced in couchsurfing. It seems I used it only three times. And I’d like to knew more about it!

Interests

I am a journalist-freelancer, writer, archeologist and traveler. My biggest dream for today is to make myself as a photoartist (that's why I'm doing all my best to enter University in Prague) and to work as a traveling photographer. The best thing which inspires me is traveling and meeting new people. I am interest in folklore, mythology and culture traditions and greatly collect it in the backcountry districts of different countries.
I am creating poems, short novels and fairy-tales (and publish them from time to time), also I am good in Indian bows and Japanese swords, I enjoy hiking in mountains and hitchhiking.
Also I am at active participant of social life of my country - I was a co- organizer and participant of lots of actions and happenings for saving different culture objects in my city. As a volunteer I took part in different international programs (for instance, in trainings which organized by Netherlands youth organization Synergy Group).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

170 kilometres in Caucasian mountains (Tushety region) in 5 days, annormal tiredness and beauty around us, our thoughts that we are doing something completely impossible and we will never come back home; and local people who are living in a small homes from stones (build without any building mortar) without roads and electricity; people who are always able to receive guests and share with them all the best;
- my first created poetry performance (when I was young and naive)), when I felt a strong connection between us (the artists and poets) and people, exchanging of energy which I could control
- lots of, lots of trips and meetings, each of them changed me - it's close to impossible to retell in a few words...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Mongolia, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Turkey
