Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Olena – an open-minded traveler, creative soul, and great listener. I love deep conversations, spontaneous adventures, and sharing stories over a cup of tea. Based in Wrocław, but often on the move. If we meet, I’ll probably cook something tasty and bring good vibes 🌍✨
I’m also a bit weird human - I love discoveries, and because of that I can exactly decide (and don’t want to ;p) if I wanna live on a farm house, rise chickens and have a dosen of dogs, or party on Tomorrowland festival, travel the world, stay in different places every time and explore crazy activities. So I’m trying to combine everything in one life 😁
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m back on Couchsurfing after a 10-year break! Back then, my goal was to earn enough to afford hotels – and I did. But along the way, I realized that Couchsurfing is about so much more than saving money. It’s about meeting amazing people, sharing stories, building genuine connections, and not feeling completely alone while traveling solo. So… I’m back 😊
And it works both ways – we’d also love to host, share a bit about our city, and simply enjoy good company and meaningful moments together.
Interests
I’m a curious and warm-hearted person who loves deep talks, slow travel, and meaningful connections. I enjoy spending time in nature, practicing yoga, hiking, and swimming. In my free time, I cook, sew, take black & white photos, and sometimes disappear into games like Mortal Kombat or The Sims. I'm passionate about psychology, emotional intelligence, and living a balanced, mindful life. Whether I'm hosting or traveling, I love sharing stories, laughter, and simple, cozy moments with others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I truly love all kinds of music – from rock, blues, Ukrainian rap, and classical, to techno with African rhythms, hippie and rasta vibes. It all depends on the moment and the mood. Lately, I’ve been especially drawn to deep, tribal sounds in electronic music.
One movie that completely stole my heart is Poor Things – strange, bold, beautiful. When it comes to books, I enjoy biographies and stories about people’s lives. I deeply admire Marina Abramović and her raw, fearless art.
I also love wandering through art museums, not as an expert but as someone who simply observes what touches me emotionally – what I like, dislike, or don’t yet understand.
Whether it’s a walk in the forest or sipping wine by the river, I love spending time outside and moving slowly through the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kept my curiosity alive and burning, even after turning 30 - staying open to new people, ideas, places, and experiences. It might sound simple, but it’s my proudest, most magical achievement so far ✨
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook simple, tasty dishes, share some Ukrainian phrases or stories, and maybe even a bit about emotional intelligence or sewing if you're curious!
I’d love to learn about your culture, your favorite music, how you see the world — and maybe a recipe or two from your home.
What I love most is sharing time and energy with people: walking, talking, laughing, or just enjoying a peaceful moment together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A delicious homemade dish, a meaningful conversation, and a cozy walk through the city. I’m happy to share good energy, stories, and a genuine connection — whether we cook together, explore a neighborhood, or just sit and talk over tea or wine. 😊
