I am a recent graduate and am currently embarking on world traveling adventure.

I am seeking to learn as much as possible from different cultures, friendly locals, and fellow travelers. I wish to give back to the communities I visit through sharing my different skills (technology, science, athletics) and passions (acro-yoga, dancing, literature).

I love reading (audiobooks are the best!), hiking/camping, and team sports!

I am also dumping a ton of love into a new skill: writing! I have a blog (taxeedee.com) where I share stories and thoughts on couple traveling with my boyfriend.

I look forward to meeting you, sharing stories and skills, and engaging in this wonderful community as we explore the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to be more-connected with the local communities that I visit; I am open to sharing spaces with others, especially those who like meeting new people! Couchsurfing provides a wonderful platform to find such like-minded people to enhance the traveling experience, and permit opportunities for myself to grow socially and confidently.

I also wish to give back to the community both while traveling (sharing stories, skills, meals) and when returning home (by offering up my couch!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a Fulbright Scholar, which permitted me the opportunity to pursue a PhD in Environmental Engineering in the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
* I love teaching Environmental Engineering, as I'm passionate about the application of technological solutions to difficult societal problems.
* I can teach Acro Yoga and swing dancing to beginners. I love any new way to move my body, be creative, and athletic all at once.

Learn:
* Languages: I know Greek and English, but love finding simple ways to communicate with locals in their native language.
* More Acro Yoga and dancing: I want to keep getting better at these fun activities!

Share:
